Man charged in connection with Brighton murder

A Lambeth labourer has been charged in connection with the murder of Brighton man Abdul Deghayes, police said.

Sussex Police said: "Daniel Macleod, 36, of Lambeth, South London, has been charged with the murder of Abdul Rahman Deghayes, 22, who died on Sunday (February 17) following a stabbing in Brighton the previous evening.

"Mr Macleod is to appear before Brighton magistrates on Friday (February 22)."
