A man charged with stalking offences has appeared in court in Brighton.
Malcolm Howell, also known as John Dory, 53, of no fixed address, appeared in custody at Brighton Magistrates' Court on Friday (August 16), charged with two offences of stalking causing alarm and distress to two women.
He is also charged with three offences of criminal damage; one to a car windscreen, one to the window of a house, and one to the front door of a house.
All offences are alleged to have been committed in Brighton and Hove.
He was remanded in custody to appear via video link before Hastings magistrates on Tuesday, August 27.
No plea was taken.
Officers had been searching for Howell and he was arrested on Wednesday evening (August 14) in Brighton.
