Man pleads guilty to acid attack in Brighton

A man has admitted throwing a corrosive substance and robbery in Brighton, Sussex Police said.

A police spokesperson said: "Jordan Kelly, 28, of St Georges Road, Brighton, pleaded guilty to a charge of robbery and throwing a corrosive substance with intent to cause grievous bodily harm into the face of a man in Whitehawk Way on March 10.

"Brooke Brennan, 21, of Plaistow Close, Brighton, who was also charged with robbing the same victim also pleaded guilty when the pair appeared at crown court on April 11. They have both been remanded in custody and will be sentenced at crown court on May 9."
