Man wanted in connection with Brighton credit card theft

Police want to speak to this man about a theft from a purse in a Brighton day centre.

The victim left a bag containing her credit card in the staff room at St Stephens Hall, Montpelier Place, Brighton, at about 12pm on Tuesday, June 18.

Police said several purchases were made with it nearby on the following day with a total value of £108.

This man was seen on CCTV when the card was used at a newsagents in Air Street, said police.

Investigator Andy Misrahi said: “We think this image is very distinctive and people who know him should be able to identify him.”
