Police alert after children spotted throwing stones off A24 bridge

A warning has gone out from Sussex Police after children were reported throwing stones from a bridge onto the A24.

Police say that youngsters were seen hurling stones from the bridge near Tesco at Broadbridge Heath at around 4.40pm on March 10.

A spokesman said: “Children are advised not to throw objects from bridges onto roads below, as it poses a risk of damage to vehicles and a risk of injury to road users.”
