Police said they have been conducting regular patrols in Lancing following concerns about child safety.

Adur and Worthing Police announced on Twitter on Wednesday, May 17: “After a recent allegation of someone approaching a child in Lancing, officers have conducted regular patrols in the area and reassured local schools of a continued presence.

“Please report any suspicion activity on 101 or 999 in an emergency.”
