St James’s Street in Brighton closes due to ‘police incident’
St James’s Street in Brighton was closed earlier this morning due to a ‘police incident’.
The road was closed at around 9am due to the incident, which happened from Old Steine to Dorset Gardens, traffic reports say.
All buses due to stop at St James’s Street were diverted via Sealife Cente along the A259, then left up Lower Back Gardens, Brighton & Hove Buses said on Twitter.
Sussex Police has been approached for a comment.
