Suspect traced after teenage girl sexually assaulted on Brighton seafront
Detectives investigating a sexual assault on a teenage girl on Brighton seafront have traced a suspect.
Police said a man was interviewed under caution on suspicion of sexually assaulting the girl near the i360, just after midnight on July 4.
He was then released on conditional police bail until August 2 while enquiries continue, police confirmed.
Detective Constable Stewart Cameron, of the Brighton and Hove Safeguarding Investigations Unit, said: "Anyone with information about this assault can contact us either online or by calling 101,quoting serial 66 of 04/07."
