Teenager assaulted outside Eastbourne theatre

Police are investigating an assault outside an Eastbourne theatre.

A 17-year-old boy was attacked outside The Congress in Carlisle Road at around 2am on Saturday morning (July 27).

He was treated by paramedics for “minor injuries”, police said.

The area was taped off for some time while officers investigated.

No arrests have been made at this stage but anyone with information is asked to contact police online or by calling 101.
