Three men assault 37-year-old outside Hove hotel

Police are appealing for witnesses after a a 37-year-old man was assaulted by three men outside a hotel in Hove.

The man was attacked and injured after being approached by the men outside the Albany Hotel in The Drive, Hove, at around 1.15pm on Tuesday (November 12), police said.

The parties involved are known to each other, according to police.

A 55-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and bailed until 12 December while enquiries continue, confirmed police.

Detective Inspector Cath O’Connor, investigating, said: “We are appealing for any witnesses, or drivers of passing vehicles who may have relevant dash-cam footage, to come forward.”
