Sussex Police arrested two men after reports of a gunman in Hove this morning (November 1).

A Sussex Police spokesperson said: “At 5.41am on Thursday (November 1), police received a report of a man in possession of a firearm at an address in Clarendon Villas, Hove.

“Officers attended and two men were arrested at the address on suspicion of possession of a firearm.

“They are a 33-year-old man from Brighton and a 34-year-old man of no fixed address, and both remain in police custody at this stage.”
