Police have released CCTV after valuable watches were stolen from a home in Hangleton.

Sussex Police said the incident took place at a detached property in Hangleton Valley Drive sometime between 10.45am and 3.30pm on Thursday, May 24.

Officers said the intruders had made an untidy search of the main bedroom and had stolen a ladies gold Omega watch with diamonds around the face, a man’s gold Omega watch with emerald stones on the face and a gold Rolex watch with rubies and diamonds around the face of it. The watches are worth more than £20,000.

The suspects were described both white men and dressed in black and wearing black baseball style caps.

Detective Sergeant Chris Lane said: “We would like to hear from anyone who recognises the suspects or has any information about this burglary. Also if anyone sees these valuable watches for sale or any jewellers who are offered them for sale, please get in touch with us.

“The owners are very distressed by the burglary and the loss of the watches.”
