A man has been taken to hospital after an accident outside Brighton's i360 observation tower.

Sussex Police said: "We have responded to a report of a traffic incident involving a car on the A259 Kings Road, Brighton, at 8.53am on Tuesday (18 February).
"A man who was driving the car is receiving medical attention and being taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital by road ambulance.
"The road was closed in both directions for the incident to be dealt with safely. An air ambulance attended but was not required to take the man to hospital."
