Firefighters tackle Faygate undergrowth blaze
Around three square metres of undergrowth caught fire at Faygate yesterday (Tuesday June 2) caused by ‘discarded smoking materials’.
Firefighters were called to Holmbush Industrial Estate in Crawley Road just after 2pm.
The fire was put out and the emergency service left around half an hour later.
The cause of the blaze was described as ‘discarded smoking materials’.
