Petrolheads and classic car lovers will be in their element when the Brighton and Hove Motor Show shifts back into gear this summer after a 10-year hiatus - and we are delighted to be on board as the Official Print Partner.
Gary Shipton, Editor In Chief of the Brighton and Hove Independent welcomed the news. He said: "I am delighted and proud that the Indy will be the official print partners for the Brighton and Hove Motor Show this year."
Speaking about the event, which takes place at the American Express Community Stadium on June 10 and 11, event director Bud Johnston says: “Brighton and Hove deserves an annual motor show. It’s been a goal of ours to re-ignite the once prestigious Brighton Motor Show events of over 10 years ago.
“Now we have a perfect location, official city status, and a local motor industry that is booming.”
He continued: "The support from local organisations has been fantastic. Our media partners are all very enthusiastic about the motor show and we are really pleased to have Brighton and Hove Independent as our Official Print Partner."
The show will be divided into themed zones, so you can walk around them all or pick your area of interest.
For a step back in time and a dose of nostalgia, the Classic Motors Zone is a showcase of manufactures and models that have been trendsetters in the motor industry over the years.
Lovers of two-wheeled transport, meanwhile, will see the Motorcycle Zone as a must.
Indeed, whether you are interested in learning how to ride, road safety, equipment or new deals on bikes, you’ll find all the answers you’re looking for here.
As racing teams continually battle to trim seconds off lap times, improve engines and generate more and more divisions, the Motorsports Zone will bring some of them to light in your eyes.
If all this fast and furious activity has you oozing with testosterone, there will be a track set up for you to take the wheel at the Go-Karting Zone where Brighton Karting is building a bespoke track for visitors to test their own driving skills.
Karts will be available for both adults and children and for budding Lewis Hamiltons, there may even be a few prizes up for grabs.
If you are looking at ways in which to maintain your vehicle both mechanically and aesthetically, then the Car Care Zone is for you.
As paying for our cars via a monthly direct debit becomes more popular, the Rivervale Car Leasing team will be on hand to answer all your leasing questions, while all the latest motoring technology will be on display at the Innovation Zone.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to get their hands on some of the vehicles on display as test drives will be available, and those with kids can enter the Family Zone where bouncy castles, entertainers and simulators will help the little ones expel some energy.

"We want to grow the event year on year and keep adding topical themes for visitors," says Johnston. "As much as it’s nice to look at cars and bikes, we want to provide experiences that create long-lasting memories.”
