PUNNETTS TOWN VILLAGE HALL: The Annual General Meeting of the hall will take place on Monday March 14, at 7.30pm, at the hall. Anyone aged over 18 years and resident in either of the two parishes of Heathfield and Warbleton is entitled to attend and vote. If you wish to put your name forward for election as a Trustee for the forthcoming year, please contact Mike Snatt on (01435) 862 925, or by email at [email protected]. The meeting will be followed by cheese and wine. The hall is at the western end of the village, and there is plenty of car parking.

LENT: Compline will take place at All Saints each Wednesday in Lent at 6.30pm. A Lent Afternoon Tea will be hosted by Mavis Moy tomorrow, Saturday, at 2.30pm in the Parish Room in aid of the British Heart Foundation.

PARISH SOCIAL: The next social will be an indoor bowls event at Horam Bowls Club at 2pm tomorrow, Saturday, with tea and cakes. This is a fun event for all abilities so do please come. Please see Keith or Hazel for details.

QUIZ: Heathfield Conservatives Quiz Evening today, Friday, 7pm for 7.30pm start at Punnetts Town, Village Hall. £10 per ticket including two-course supper and licensed bar.

COFFEE MORNING: A coffee morning at the Methodist Church Hall to raise funds for the Cross in Hand Village Fete is tomorrow, Saturday, from 10am to noon. Everyone welcome.

ST RICHARD’S CHURCH: Sunday, 9.45am Parish Eucharist with activities for children. 6.30pm Churches Together in Heathfield and District Lenten reflections at the Community Centre. Tuesday, 2pm St Richard’s Toddler Group. Wednesday, 10am Holy Communion.
