MYSTERY BOOKS: Don’t judge a book by its cover, support your local charity and pop in for a mystery book for 50p. Community Corner Charity Shop on North Street, Hailsham is celebrating World Book Day with a two week long event. They have decided that this national event should be for book loving adults as well as children and are encouraging customers not to judge a book by its cover. Instead we are asking people to pop in, pick a genre and to take away a mystery book, all wrapped up so they don’t know what they are getting. The event will run until Thursday and all of the disguised books will be 50p. Community Corner Charity Shop raises money for Sussex Community Development Association (SCDA), enabling the charity to support local neighbours and community projects. The volunteer run shop is open 9.30am to 3.30pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
