Hospice hosts Vintage Fair

St Michael’s Hospice will open its doors and gardens for a Fabulously Vintage Fair on Saturday September 20.

It promises to be an exciting day out for all the family with plenty of fabulous vintage and retro items for sale.

People from across Hastings and Rother are invited to browse a vast collection of vintage and retro stalls in the ‘vintage market place’ as well as enjoying a day of traditional village fete games, vintage tearooms and lindy hoppers to transport you back in time. There will be something for everyone, including a children’s marquee which includes games, workshops, face painting and storytelling (all with vintage prices!), vintage vehicles to browse and live entertainment from local artists along with a vintage photo booth.

Bruni Llovet, Head of Marketing at St Michael’s Hospice. said: “Everyone is invited to bring full wallets (card payments accepted too), dig out their best vintage attire and enjoy a day out for all the family.

“The Fabulously Vintage Fair is hosted by the hospice not only as a means of raising much needed funds, but as a way of bringing new audiences across Hastings and Rother to the Hospice, educating them on the range of services available and showcasing the beautiful grounds and building of St Michael’s Hospice.

“We are delighted to have received so much support from the local community and businesses and are delighted a number of schools and colleges will also be donating their time to the event including music from Claremont school and volunteers from Buckswood School. Photographers from Sussex Coast College and Battle Photographic Society will be at the event to capture the moment.”
