Hospital benefits from music festival
MONEY raised at September’s Battle Rocks music festival has been donated to James ward at Conquest Hospital, Hastings.
The event was organised by the Bull Inn. Owner of the Bull, Alan Deeprose, handed over £150 to ward matron Lizzie Nugent.
Alan said: “We chose to donate money to James ward as we know some of the staff and feel anything we can do to help the hospital is a bonus.”
Lizzie thanked Alan and said the money will be used to buy equipment for the ward.
