Lifeboat rescues two paddle boarders in distress in Hove
The Shoreham lifeboat team was called out to rescue two paddle boarders in distress in Hove yesterday.
The pair were drifting and could not get ashore, according to an RNLI spokesman.
They were taken on board the all weather lifeboat and returned to the lifeboat station, the spokesman said.
The team was then called out again after reports of a windsurfer in difficulty by West Pier in Brighton.
However on arrival, the team found the person had made it safely ashore.
