Littlehampton diners land a fine catch for cancer cause

FISH proved its worth as brain food when a Littlehampton restaurant hosted a charity quiz night.

The sell-out event, with 100 people attending, was at the Fish Factory, in East Street, and raised £857 for CancerWise.

It was the launch of the charity’s new campaign, #cancerwiselove2 and was organised by fund-raising manager Emma Neno, former mayor of Littlehampton, who was helped by CancerWise when she was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2011.

Keith Croft, of Up Front Events, was the quizmaster.

Emma said: “It was a brilliant evening, my thanks go to everyone who came to support the event and of course to Keith, Jules and all the Fish Factory team.”

She is encouraging more people to back the #cancerwiselove2 campaign by organising creative and fun activities. Tesco, Littlehampton, West Sussex County and Arun District councils are already joining in. To take part, call Emma on 07990588183 or email [email protected]
