‘When the Earth Cracked’, the third book in Marion’s Mysterious Marsh series, is set on Romney Marsh and continues the adventures of feisty young 1970s property lawyer, Hazel Dawkins. As an earthquake strikes Kent, shattering the fabric of both time and place, she confronts criminal intrigue and is ensnared in tragic events that occurred 1,700 years earlier in a Britain ruled by the Roman Gallic Empire.

Along with signing copies of her earlier books in the Mysterious Marsh series (When the Clocks Stopped and When the Tide Turned) Marion will also be signing the latest book in her Faraway Lands series. Called The Snaking River and set in 1930s Burma, now Myanmar, it describes the escapades and experiences of a young English boy living by the great Irrawaddy River where he discovers that country’s fascinating wildness, creatures and culture.
