Local Lottery winner scoops £1 million

The lucky woman was one of 10 Lotto raffle winners that scooped £1 million each in the special Valentines draw on February 14.

Mrs A was playing Lotto through national-lottery.co.uk.

A National Lottery spokesperson said, “Huge congratulations to Mrs A for winning this fantastic prize without even touching a ticket.

On February 13, the Herald reported that someone in Eastbourne had failed to collect a £124,000 National Lottery win. The ticket had been bought in the town, but no-one has yet claimed the prize
