Love your Bike Week set for half-term hols

Brighton’s second Love Your Bike Week is being celebrated throughout the February half term.

A number of events are planned at FIELD, Preston Barracks, Lewes Road, as Brighton Bike Hub and Remade in Brighton host a raft of free cycling themed activities from 11-18 February.

Brighton Bike Hub, who provide DIY community cycle workshops year-round, want to help young cyclists prepare their bikes for Spring and Summer.

On Saturday February 11 between 12–3pm there is a book signing and activities for children (six-11 years) with Catherine Bruzzone author of My Book of Bike Activities.

On Wednesday February 15 between 12– 3pm the Bike Hub hosts a bike activity session for children of all ages to cycle an obstacle course and learn how to look after a bike.

Children can bring their own bike or borrow one from Bike Hub.

On Saturday February 18 from 10am to 5pm the Bike Hub offers a cycle maintenance training session.
