Man assaulted in Felpham

POLICE are seeking witnesses after a man was assaulted near a private estate in Felpham.

The 53-year-old was walking home alone around 11.30pm on Sunday (June 30) on the Summerley Estate seafront pathway.

The local man was pushed to the ground and was left with facial injuries, which did not require hospital treatment.

Nothing was stolen.

Police said there were currently no descriptions of the offender or offenders.
