Man dies at the cliffs near Eastbourne

Sussex Police confirmed emergency services responded to a report of a man having fallen from the cliffs near Eastbourne at around 4.40pm on Tuesday (April 5).

A police spokesperson said, “The coastguard conducted a search and found the man, who was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.

“There appear to be no suspicious circumstances.”
