Millions being drained from our county
Millions of pounds collected in non domestic rates throughout West Sussexs are being dished out to other areas of the country, county councillors heard on Friday.
Only one district in the county is a net gainer from the system. In Arun, 26.9m is collected and 27.6m is being given back to the area under the Government's distribution system, a netgain of 700,000.
