Netherfield Church: Services for Brightling, Mountfield and Netherfield continue through August with this Sunday August 24 Holy Communion at Netherfield and Sunday August 31 will be Songs of Praise at Brightling starting at 6pm and followed by drinks in the churchyard. Any requests for readings and hymns for this service may be made to Ann-Marie. All services start at 10am with the exception of August 31. We have our first event for some time coming up on Sunday September 7. We are hosting Afternoon Tea with Garden Games at The Lodge, Netherfield starting at 3pm. An afternoon obviously aimed at raising funds for the church but also to have some fun. Come along and try your hand at croquet, boule, quoites and other games. Whether you are competitive or not, have some fun and then enjoy a good old cup of tea and a cake or scone. There will also be a raffle and possibly even some prizes. It would be great to see lots of people so make a note of the date, tell your friends and pray for a fine day. Paul Smith.

White Hart: On the third Thursday of every month we hold a Quiz night for a local charity. All are welcome, there is always a ‘special’ on offer for food.

Groups: There are various groups meeting throughout the month including Boulez, The Rover group, The Harley Davidson group, T.R. Cars and The Breakaway Club. If you would like to know more about any of the dates and times or about the darts and football teams please give Sean a ring on 01424 838382. White Hart Boulez Pitch: The pieste is free to use, any clubs please feel free to come and use the pieste, FOC any time except match days which are Saturday afternoons throughout the season.
