New SASBAH support group makes its home in the town

SASBAH, the Sussex Association for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus, has started a support group based in Bexhill.

The newly formed group meets on the first Wednesday of each month at Centre Stage in London Road from 11am – 1pm. Refreshments are provided. If you would like to attend please contact Claire Bryant, deputy general manager for SASBAH, on 07920576313.

Claire said: “SASBAH has been very fortunate to receive funding to set up this local support group. “Already we are finding that it provides a welcome opportunity for members to discuss shared experiences and provide mutual support.

“Members helped with our recent collection at Sainsbury’s in Bexhill and opportunities such as this really help to strengthen links with the local community.”
