Police say that there will be an investigation into the cause of the fire on Norton Road.

East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service (ESFRS) were called to the scene on Sunday, January 8, at 5:18pm, and there were no injuries.

ESFRS said two officers and three appliances attended, two jets and two monitors were used by crews to extinguish the fire.

A spokesperson for the police said that the fire is believed to have been caused deliberately.

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information about the incident to report it to Sussex Police online or call 101 and quote serial 882 of 29/01.
