There is still a good selection of winter vegetables available, plus homemade cakes and savoury items, flowers and plants and good selection of greetings cards. CHAILEY HERITAGE: From Children’s Home to Soldiers Hospital. Chailey Heritage in the First World War. On Thursday Chailey Heritage Foundation is opening its doors to the local community for a captivating talk on its history, and an opportunity to learn about the work the charity does today. After the talk, guest will have the opportunity to have a look round some of the facilities, meet some of the Charity’s beneficiaries and speak to the dedicated staff. This event will take place at Chailey Heritage Foundation from 6pm to 8pm and is free of charge, but numbers are limited.
