NHS health check bus suffers breakdown

PEOPLE hoping for a free health check by visiting the NHS screening bus at Sidley were in for a disappointment on Thursday 24th June as the bus suffered a mechanical breakdown and was unable to attend.

A spokesperson for the NHS said:

"This is something beyond our control and every effort is being made to get it fixed to ensure that the unit is back on the road as soon as possible.

"We would like to apologise to anyone who came to Lidl on 24 June for a health check, however we did have staff on hand to update people and provide advice, as well as details of other Health Check venues / dates."

It's hoped the bus will be well enough to attend Ravenside Retail park on 25th & 26th June.
