North Bersted event to help house hunters

A LEADING housebuilder is holding an open day this weekend so buyers in North Bersted can get free independent expert advice.

The Help To Buy advice event will take place at the Charles Church Willows Edge development from 11am-4pm this Saturday for people to find out about the Government-backed scheme.

Linda Humphrey, the Charles Church south coast sales manager, explained the day could show buyers how the scheme would make their first or next home move even easier.

She said: “Help To Buy was launched by the Chancellor of the Exchequer in his spring budget and has really given a boost to the housing market.

“It means people can own 100 per cent of their new home for just 80 per cent of the purchase price using the scheme.”

Help To Buy is available to anyone buying a new-build home up to £600,000. All that is needed is a five per cent deposit.
