Geri's Brighton throwback ahead of Spice Girls tour announcement

Spice Girls star Geri Horner made a visit to the carousel on Brighton seafront yesterday (November 4), sharing a snap on Instagram of the spot where the girl band had their first photoshoot.

The Spice Girl was in Brighton after the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run, which she took part in with her husband Christian Horner, team principal of the Red Bull Racing Formula 1 team.

The Instagram post came ahead of today’s announcement (November 5) of the Spice Girls reunion tour, with dates expected to be revealed at 3pm.

In the post, Geri said: “I’m in Brighton for the day and didn’t expect to see this... this carousel was where we (Spice) had our first ever photo shoot #howfarwehavecome.”

Fans on Twitter have shared rumours that the Spice Girls could be set to headline Brighton Pride 2019, after organisers managed to book Britney Spears for this year’s event – but this is just speculation.

Four members of the band are set to take part in the tour, but Posh Spice (Victoria Beckham) is reportedly not joining the line up.
