At last we can negotiate on foot the busy junction of George Street and the High Street without taking our lives in our hands.

I and a number of friends have tested the new pavement, in both directions, and we all agree – it is a boon to the Old Town! Bravo to our council!

PS Would the oaf who allows his enormous dog to foul the pavement on Canute Road kindly clear up after it? Thank you.
