LETTER: Explanation for '˜careful and positively managed' approach please

I write referring to the comment in the Mid Sussex Times (14.01.16 p3 '˜Garden waste collection charge set to rise by £5') that Mid Sussex District Council are putting aside £440,000 to ensure the future development of Burgess Hill is '˜carefully and positively managed'.

Does Mid Sussex District Council actually think that to allow the demolition of Martlets Hall and not provide a replacement is a ‘carefully and positively managed’ approach to the future development of Burgess Hill?

Perhaps the council would explain.

Janice Henwood,

Burgess Hill Town Councillor

Oakwood Road, Burgess Hill
