LETTER: Traffic wardens should act now

Being a resident of Hastings, I like nothing more than a visit to Sea Road on Hastings seafront, but I am absolutely fed up with camper vans and now caravans.

Don’t get me wrong, of course they have the right to park here, but I understand sleeping in a vehicle overnight here is forbidden.

I would like to suggest a traffic warden should pop along between 08.00 and 09.00 on a Sunday morning, they could then witness the steamed up windows and sleepy campers having a coffee and a fag as they shake out their duvets on the promenade.

Come on traffic wardens, please stop turning a blind eye and uphold the regulations in this car park.

But then on the other hand, perhaps I should sell my house and buy a big motorhome and join them for a free all-year-round holiday.

I would love to hear from parking enforcement as to why nothing has been done regarding my concerns.
