A zebra crossing is needed at Langney Point

Prince William Parade, Langney Point, is in my mind an accident waiting to happen.

Of all the roads along the seafront only this road has no zebra crossing to assist people in getting to or from the beach.

This road is very busy and traffic parks up to and across the crossing point by the exit from Benbow Avenue making it very difficult for people to see what’s coming, especially if you’ve got a buggy or are on a mobility scooter.

What is needed here is a zebra crossing with a chicane similar to the one in Ramsay Way.

For once let’s be proactive rather than reactive as with the excessive speed cars travel down this road, along with the poor parking, its a case of not if but when.
