Can you help solve the mystery?

MAY I ask readers if they have any knowledge of a shop by the name of H. S. Tunks, as I am unable to trace such a business in the Littlehampton area.

I have come across a postcard of such a shop, the photograph taken by F. W. Spry, and posted in 1911, but I am unable to trace any evidence of the shop or name in the town, and as far as I'm aware, Spry did not photograph buildings out of this area.

Tunks had a small shop trading in groceries and was a draper. It was situated at the end of a three-window building, with a door one window away from the shop, and a wall letterbox between the two. It has a rural appearance, with bushes between the footpath and building partly obscuring the shop.

The only possible site that comes to mind is the building that used to exist along the footpath running between Cornwall Road and Worthing Road, when it was mainly fields, but I am not aware of any shop, nor does it appear in a directory. Perhaps a reader has the answer?
