Nikki Cannon, Regional Fundraiser, said: “World Cerebral Palsy Day is a global innovation project to change the world for people living with cerebral palsy and their families and with this close to the heart of the service we provide, it was a day that we wanted to mark with our families.”

The fundraising team, school staff and families donned their green ribbons and green outfits and the colour also made an appearance in the classroom sessions to engage the children such as using flat feet and hands to make green prints and exploring textures using green spaghetti.

“We have been delighted with the support received this week especially on social media and hope that in recognising the campaign we have also raised the awareness of cerebral palsy in the local community.”
