Counting the cost

WHILE I do not love or hate the so called “longest bench”, I am concerned about who is going to pay for the upkeep of it.

I ask this as the mindless among us have started to break it up already. There are about five or six arms broken off where the slats go around in a sort of backrest. How long before we see the bars being removed or damaged?

Who will bear the cost of replacing the bars that have been paid for with personal messages?

I hope it will not be down to the council tax payer, but met by those who conjured up this idea.
