Flags were where?
I WAS very disappointed to find that The Street in Rustington was devoid of flowers at a very special time.
Secondly, where were the bunting and Union Flags?
I was aware that a great deal of effort had been made to entertain the public with the arts and crafts displays, and I am sure that the public appreciated the celebratory functions, but the lack of street decoration was very noticeable and was particularly evident for the royal wedding last year.
Please allow a little more thought into dressing The Street.
Do not always leave it to the local retailers – without them I would not have known that it was a special royal occasion.
