Garden centre announces new charity of the year

Squire’s Garden Centre in Washington is proud to announce that they have chosen St Barnabas House as their dedicated ‘Charity of the Year’ for 2015/2016.

St Barnabas House in Worthing is an independent, charitable hospice, providing specialist palliative care both within the hospice and in the comfort of patients’ homes.

They look after adults who are approaching the end of their lives.

Care is aimed at alleviating distressing symptoms associated with serious illness, as well as providing specialist emotional support for the families and carers throughout the illness and into bereavement. Squire’s in Washington will support the charity through to September next year.

All donations from the public will go directly to the charity.

Squire’s have also invited St Barnabas House to an exclusive preview of their new Christmas Circus with Santa’s Grotto. The Christmas Circus, held in a traditional ‘Big Top’, is a magical show where you will see; acrobatic displays, trapeze acts, comedy acts, arena skills and much, much more.

After the show visit Santa is his grotto, and if children have been very good they will receive an early Christmas present! Santa will be opening the Squire’s Christmas Circus when he arrives in style at 10am on Saturday 21st November in a vintage car! Come and watch Santa arrive – it’s free (no ticket required).
