The popular event, now into its third year, will welcome participants from far and wide on Saturday February 28th - complementing the questions with fish and chips and a licensed bar.

“We’re inviting guests to have a drink and a think, a good chinwag and a raffle, with 2 hours of great fun,” says annual quiz organiser Eamonn Gilbert.

Quizmaster Eamonn is well known for his entertaining questioning skills: covering everything from music to movies, pictures to history and geography to sport. “Brainiac or Beckham there’ll be something for everyone,” he says.

“The aim of the evening is to raise vital funds for Bury Primary School and St John’s Church,” adds Eamonn. “At just £13 a ticket with fish and chips, or £6 without, there’s no excuse not to join in the fun!”

Tickets can be bought in advance by calling 07970 739 075, or from Bury Primary School in Westburton Lane and Bury Post Office in The Street. Groups (max 8 per table) and single guests are equally welcome. Doors open at 7pm on Saturday February 28th and the quiz starts at 8pm.
