LETTER: Comments prior to public revelations
For the purpose of clarity, may I please inform readers that my letter regarding the potential loss of the Horsham Cricket Festival, printed in the County Times on 27th February, was emailed to the Editor on 18th February, in advance of the articles in the press, which, incidentally, were published as a consequence of that letter.
My comments and appeal were therefore made before the public revelations in the newspaper, and not because of them.
