LETTER: Good points from letters columns
Two letters in the County Times caught my eye, and I profoundly agree with both.
Terry Slade complained about the length of some letters to yourselves. Hear hear. If correspondents cannot get the point across in a short, concise letter, they risk boring the reader, who won’t bother to read to the end. It’s a letter, not a chapter of a book.
B.W. Laflin suggests this is the right time to get rid of the Shelley monstrosity, sorry, Fountain. Again, hear hear. It’s ugly, expensive and doesn’t fit with the description of Horsham as a market town.
I also agree with the letter suggesting a new hospital for the Novartis site.
