Neighbour gains from our sad loss

I was sad to learn that the Littlehampton Waitrose store is to be relocated to Rustington in the next few months.

Like many, as a non-driver living locally and frequenting the large ‘super’ stores only on a monthly basis, I have found the choice and quality offered by Waitrose extremely useful as an alternative, on many occasions, to other local supermarket options and shall miss them very much.

The site at present occupied by Waitrose has changed hands at least three times in the seven years that I have lived in Littlehampton and one can only wonder, with anticipation, which retail outlet will appear next.

However, the decision has been made and our loss will be Rustington’s gain!
