Now more planning objections needed
At the public hearing for this, McCarthy & Stone claimed it had taken into account the views of residents and others, resulting in a modified application with a reduced number of apartments.
Immediately after gaining approval, McCarthy & Stone then applied for what is basically its original proposal, back to up 60 flats.

Hide AdArun District Council has, quite properly, objected and there is to be another public hearing!
Nevertheless, it is to be hoped that many more of us will register objections with the Planning Inspectorate in Bristol, reference APP/C3810/A/08/2086867/NWF and by December 1, the closing date for submissions to the public hearing (the date for which has not yet been announced).
Finally, congratulations and thank-you to Littlehampton Bonfire Society for another splendid evening.
I didn't see McCarthy Stone listed as sponsors!
