Public shown respect

WHY was the nature of the Town Forum so different this week? The reasons in my opinion are very simple: the public were shown respect, the agenda running order was adhered to, the emotive subject of the seafront was not being discussed, the forum was dominated by the views of the public (even if the council does not listen to them), and there was one obvious absence.

As Margaret Jones so rightly said, the people who were there were all ones who care fervently about Bexhill.

So perhaps it would be a good idea to suggest in the constitution that only people who feel likewise should attend!

Let us hope future ones will be equally enjoyable, relaxed and informative.
