Thinking big for Littlehampton...

LITTLEHAMPTON is home to what is arguably the world’s longest bench, and soon will boast the world’s largest bucket and spade.

I think the town should build on this theme, so here are some ideas for consideration.

First, paint the gas works to be the world’s largest baked beans tin. Heinz could be approached to sponsor.

Kingmere, the 1970s tower block near the seafront, could be decorated as the world’s largest Jenga tower.

The dome near the swimming pool could be the world’s largest scoop of ice-cream.

Are there any other local landmarks which could be re-purposed in this way?
